Graduated from School of Hard Knocks.

Updated: Mar 27, 2023

After graduating from the School of Hard Knocks (台上一分钟 台下十年功), I can proudly say that my journey as a self-taught bike mechanic has been a rewarding one. It all started with the frustration of being ridiculed by local bike shop owners for having no knowledge about bike repair. As the pandemic fueled the bike industry, their arrogance only grew, leaving me with no choice but to learn how to fix and tune my own bike.

With the help of my trusty training tool, Mr. Bickerton (my bicycle), and my teacher, YouTube, I have successfully facelifted my bike and learned how to replace and repair parts that are prone to wear and tear. I am also grateful for the assistance of my new friend, Heiqal Hashim, who helped me install the crankset.

As I move on to my next adventure in beekeeping, I am excited to take Mr. Bickerton with me and share this life experience. Check out the pictures of Mr. Bickerton's transformation, from his original form to his newly facelifted look.
