See You Tomorrow.

Updated: Mar 27, 2023

A few days ago, I caught up with an old friend, Joseph, whom I hadn't seen in a while due to Covid restrictions. We enjoyed a good lunch and our conversation circled back to the idea of me writing my book. I explained that I was still in the process of organizing my thoughts to make it a captivating read.

Joseph encouraged me to complete the book, emphasizing that my wealth of experience could help younger generations who are eager to follow a similar path, as a way of paying it forward. He suggested that my journey be chronicled as a legacy to inspire others. The reason why the title is relevant to my writing is because a particular sentence in our conversation resonated with me, causing me to resume journaling. These days, Joseph takes long walks with his wife and cherishes their golden moments together. He shared with me the sudden passing of his friend Fischer, who was healthy and much younger than Joseph. Fischer had made his fortune and was about to reap the benefits of his hard work, but cancer struck and left his wife a widow within a month.

Joseph now makes it a priority to say "See You Tomorrow" to his wife before retiring for the night because we never know what the future holds. Life is unpredictable, especially as we move towards our golden years. We've accomplished what we set out to do, and it's important to express our love and cherish our time with loved ones.

So my dear friends, don't just say "I love you." Follow up with "See You Tomorrow" before going to bed tonight, as we hope for a brand new day tomorrow.
