Honey Is Ready.

Flowering season had begun. My bees are busy collecting nectar and pollen. They are busy making honey for me now!

Since their arrival, proper hive management was done and although Apis Florea cannot be domesticated, This experiment has proven that with proper handling, they still can be managed. So far no feeding was done and no traces of mites or viruses found. They are in the pink of health!

Apis Florea do not produce as much honey as the cerana or mellifera, but with economy of scale, and with good vegetation and apiary management, there is a possibility just like in Cambodia, Myanmar or Nepal. All the honey are sealed and ready for harvesting.

Finally, we can proudly say this experiment is a success! Honey made in Singapore! Sweet 2018!
