When Paths Cross, Life Can Change.

During my research and study trip, I uncovered a potential source of high-quality honey and other agricultural products. This discovery presents an opportunity not only to address food security in Singapore but also to collaborate with Oxford Policy Management in the development of public policies that empower women in sustainable beekeeping. By providing these hardworking women with the means to lift themselves out of poverty, we can make a significant impact. The trip was incredibly productive, and I look forward to discussing the way forward during my next trip in early November, which will coincide with the start of honey harvesting. As I plan for the future, I would like to extend an invitation to fellow Singaporeans who are interested in meeting these remarkable women beekeepers and sharing their life experiences. Who knows, they may even become our future food providers, ensuring that we have access to nutritious food. Life can change when paths cross.
