Introducing Broke & Back.

I have a compost bin for my food waste on my balcony. To prevent ants from crawling all over it, I placed the bin on a shallow tray of water where my aquatic friends live. I have 10 guppies and 2 terrapins. Although I told myself to detach any feelings from them, it can never be done.

Eventually, I named my 2 terrapins Broke and Back, a suggestion made by Mei when she saw them. Broke and Back are both males, which I discovered only when Mei asked me to check their gender. I might get myself into a sticky situation of becoming the daddy of an army of terrapins, but thankfully I only have Broke and Back for now.
