Rainy Days and Monday.

Do you remember The Carpenters? They are one of my favorite groups.

It had been a while since it last rained, but yesterday's shower was refreshing, not only for me but also for the plants on my balcony.

In Uganda, we used to have edible mushrooms growing in my garden. My housemaid would gather them, wash them, and leave them on the kitchen table for me to cook when I returned in the evening.

There were times when we would collect different types of mushrooms, which were bigger, from my friend's farm located in the countryside.

The amazing part was that sometimes we would come across exotic species.
