After nearly a year of planning and obtaining the necessary approvals from relevant authorities, we can finally get our operation underway. The initial shipment of honey is expected to arrive next week, and this will keep me occupied for the remainder of the year.
Reflecting on the past and making comparisons, here is a picture of how my honey refinery in Uganda looked like.

When the honey arrived from the village, it would fill up the entire room.

My team of refinery workers will begin their tasks.

Ephraim, Abu, Kassim, and Emmanuel are a great group of guys - hardworking and eager to learn.

I feel truly fortunate now. In contrast, everything was done manually in Uganda. However, the silver lining was that the workers there were strong and possessed great endurance.
After processing, the honey will be shipped off to Switzerland. The sense of accomplishment and joy upon achieving the final product is truly fulfilling.
