In Uganda, street hawking can be just as fascinating as street photography. The variety of items sold on the streets and the inventive ways in which they are transported can leave you in awe. Take for example this one unique individual who sells clay stoves while balancing them on his head. It's amazing what people can do to make a living.

This photograph captures a moment in 2003 on a street in Kampala, Uganda. At the time, the city had a slower pace of life and less traffic, making for a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. However, in the years since, Kampala has undergone rapid development and growth.
The streets are now congested with second-hand vehicles from all over, and the air is no longer as fresh. As a result, life in Kampala has become less enjoyable than it once was.
