In just over a week, Maggot's wound has nearly closed and he will be staying over at my place this weekend.

Although Maggot is not toilet trained yet, he has designated a particular towel for his small business. In my room, I have created a designated area for him, away from the direct airflow of the air conditioning. To keep him warm in case the air conditioning is cold, I have placed a hot water bag underneath a pile of cloth.

Now, he can recognize his scent on the cloth. He went straight to the pile and slept, being a very good boy. :) Maggot is easy to handle and doesn't bark unnecessarily, so I was able to sleep through the night.

In the morning, I saw Maggot sleeping on his back, which was a familiar sight as my previous dogs in Uganda used to sleep in that position. It seems that dogs tend to imitate their owners, as they saw me sleeping in that position and started doing the same thing too.

Dogs, intelligent, loyal and men best friend.
