Today Is The First Day Of The Rest Of My Life.

For the past 16 years, I haven't celebrated my birthdays in Singapore. Hence, returning home to mark my 55th birthday was a momentous occasion. Joo presented me with a cake to commemorate the occasion. :)

Traditionally, I spend this day in solitude, reminiscing on my past experiences, current situation, and future goals, including both the happiest and saddest moments of my African journey.

To sum it all up, something still seems to be absent. Nonetheless, a joyous birthday to me. :)
