Class Of 1978...40 Years On!

In 1974, our friendship began when we started secondary school. We were all musicians in the school band, and our shared love for music brought us together. Catching spiders along the railway track, camping at Pulau Tekong during school holidays, and even skipping classes to play music were some of the adventures we shared.

Our dedication and hard work paid off when we were recognized as one of the top three school bands in Singapore. However, the road to success was not easy. We practiced for hours under the hot sun, enduring sweat and tears along the way. Despite the challenges, every moment of our musical journey was worth it.

I don't remember if we ever sat down to discuss what we wanted to be when we grew up. The next thing I knew, we were already adults with families of our own. Time waits for no one.

Getting all of us together was a challenge, but this year, we finally managed to do it. All five of us, along with our extended families, reunited after 40 years.

Our journey has left us with countless beautiful memories that we cherish dearly.
