The past few weeks of rain have made it difficult to get rid of the ants in my home. I hired a pest controller to eliminate the colony, but unfortunately, it didn't work even after two sessions and three weeks. I paid $120 for just a few drops of poison, and the excuses started coming in when I didn't see any results. The pest controller claimed that the rain may have washed away the poison, but I wasn't sure if they were just making excuses or if the whole thing was a scam. It seemed unlikely that just a few drops of poison would do the trick.
After some argument, the pest controller agreed to give me some of the poison and let me handle it myself when the weather gets dryer. They initially claimed that the poison was a controlled item because of its toxicity, but they relented after I raised my concerns. I could see that the ants were gathering around the poison and enjoying their feast this time. Let's hope that it works and they will finally be gone.
