Doesn't the title sound good? Well, I was actually the first person to arrive in class for my digital photography course held on August 14th and 15th.
I had been tinkering with my DSLR for almost a year, and my thirst for knowledge was unquenchable. I took my camera everywhere I went; sometimes I even felt like I was going crazy.
I came across this course on Facebook and decided to use my SkillsFuture funds to pay for it. The course was enriching, and I gained a few more ideas on how to improve my photography skills. All the important basics of using a DSLR camera were covered, and further skills depended on your creativity and experience.
Although it was only a two-day course, I met a bunch of nice people, and I'm glad for that. We plan to meet up soon for coffee.
Here are some shots taken during the class and the photography excursion to Gardens by the Bay. There are many types of photography, but my favorite is capturing people at decisive moments.
As I delve deeper into this hobby, I am tempted to purchase a better camera. However, my budget does not allow for it at the moment. Nonetheless, the quality of the results is dependent on the photographer, not the camera itself.
