Funny, Familiar, Forgotten Feeling.

Yesterday, while wandering around Kathmandu city, I stumbled upon a place that felt strangely familiar. I couldn't put my finger on where I had seen it before, but then memories of my time in Uganda in 2001 flooded my mind.

It was on Bombo road in Kampala where I first stayed when I arrived. Looking up at this white building brought back nostalgic feelings of being in Uganda in the early days, when I knew no one and was all alone. Seeing it again through my lens 17 years later brought back a funny, forgotten feeling of familiarity.
