During my recent trip to Nepal, I had the opportunity to visit Kathmandu during their celebration of Diwali.

As part of Nepal's second largest festival, Diwali, they observe Kukur (Dog) Tihar on the second day of the festival to honor and appreciate the special relationship between humans and dogs. This involves offering garlands and food to the animals as a sign of their significance.
Similarly, other days of the festival are dedicated to crows and cows, recognizing the crucial roles that these animals play in the daily lives of humans.
