Love in Any Language.

Yesterday evening, I attended my first Mandarin service after being invited by a new friend, Kemin 罗克敏. She works as a DJ at our local radio station, 100.3, and I got to know her through another new friend, Sock Meng (center).

The service and sermon were heartfelt, and I felt a sense of belonging. I preferred the small-scale set-up, as it allowed for more personal interactions. Large rock concert-style events aren't really my thing, as it's easy to feel lost in the crowd.

Even though I didn't fully understand most of what the pastor preached, language was no barrier between me and God. Love transcends language and speaks straight to the heart. :)
